Marion trained at the University of Leeds, obtaining a BA Hons in Theatre Design (1st) and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Garment Construction (1st) at the Linea Fashion Academy in Durban, South Africa.

After spending the first part of her career as a Touring Wardrobe Manager for companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Headlong and The National Theatre of Scotland, Marion now works as a freelance Costume and Set Designer for theatre and film. Creating designs for a variety of repertory, touring and community productions and short films.

Marion also works as a Costume Supervisor, where her background in both Costume Design and Running Wardrobe come together to orchestrate all aspects of costume production.
